Its cell-free protein synthesis platform enables it to design and produce protein carriers and antigens. Its pipeline includes pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) candidates. Its lead vaccine candidate is VAX-24, a 24-valent investigational PCV. Its pipeline also includes VAX-XP, VAX-A1 and VAX-PG. The Company's second PCV, VAX-XP, uses its modular platform and builds on the technical proof of concept established by VAX-24. VAX-A1 is a conjugate vaccine being developed for group A strep infections. VAX-PG is being developed as a protein vaccine for the treatment of periodontitis.
