It has approximately 1.17 million square feet of unoccupied space in the United Kingdom and over 0.18 million square feet in France. In the United Kingdom, the Company owns approximately three development sites at Chiswick and Wandsworth in London and in central Birmingham. Its stores are located in the center of metropolitan areas, such as Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Its subsidiaries include Safestore Investments Limited, Assay Insurance Services Limited, Safestore Acquisition Limited and Spaces Personal Storage Limited.
