Aortech International Plc (AorTech) is an Intellectual Property (IP) holding company. The Company’s principal activity is exploiting the value of its IP. AorTech is focused on the commercialization of its biomedical polymer technology, components and medical devices. The Company’s polymer technologies include ELAST-EON, Elast-Eon Carbonate Silicone (ECSil) and E-RIM. Elast-Eon polymers are used in long term implantation. ECSil is a family of next generation biomedical polymers. ECSil is available in a range of mechanical properties and its applications include cardiac pacing leads, orthopedics and spinal discs. Elast-Eon is adapted for use with Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) for use in medical devices. The applications include dashboards, bumpers and overhead bin panels.
