Clearway Energy, Inc., formerly NRG Yield, Inc., is a holding company. The Company's segments include Conventional Generation, Renewables, Thermal and Corporate. The Company's businesses are segregated based on conventional power generation, renewable businesses, which consist of solar and wind, and the thermal and chilled water business. The Company holds interest in Alta Wind Asset Management Holdings, LLC, Alta Wind Company, LLC, Alta Wind X Holding Company, LLC and Alta Wind XI Holding Company, LLC. As of June 30, 2018, these collectively owned 12 wind facilities that totaled 814 megawatts (MW) located in Tehachapi, California, and a portfolio of associated land leases (the Alta Wind Portfolio). The Company owns a diversified portfolio of contracted renewable and conventional generation, and thermal infrastructure assets in the United States. As of June 30, 2018, the Company's contracted renewable and conventional generation portfolio represented 5,118 net MW.
