GAMCO Natural Resources, Gold and Income Trust (Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Company’s primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income from interest, dividends, and option premiums. The Fund’s secondary investment objective is to seek capital appreciation consistent with the Fund’s strategy and its primary objective. The Fund’s invests at least 8% of its assets in securities of companies principally engaged in the natural resources and gold industries to achieve its objectives. As part of its investment strategy, the Fund intends to generate income from short-term gains through option strategy of writing or selling covered call options of the equity securities assets in its portfolio. The Company’s investors acquire shares of the Fund on a securities exchange at market value, which fluctuates according to the dynamics of supply and demand.
