Koppers Holdings Inc. (Koppers) is a provider of carbon compounds and commercial wood treatment products and services. The Company’s products are used in a variety of applications including the aluminum, railroad, specialty chemical, utility rubber, concrete and steel industries. Koppers manufacturing facilities are located in the United States, Australia, China, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Canada, and the Netherlands. The Company operates two business segments: Carbon Materials & Chemicals, Railroad and Utility Products & Services. Koppers, through its Carbon Materials and Chemicals business, process coal tar into a variety of products, including carbon pitch, creosote, naphthalene and phthalic anhydride. The Company through their Railroad and Utility Products and Services business, supply railroad crossties to the North American railroads.
