Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust (the Trust) is a closed-end management investment company. The Trust’s investment objective is to provide a high level of current income exempt from federal income tax. The Trust seeks to provide investors with liquidity and safety of principal, primarily by investing in a diversified portfolio of investment grade tax-exempt municipal securities. The Trust invests at least 65% of its total assets primarily in municipal bonds. The Trust pays an advisory fee to the Invesco Advisers, Inc. based on the annual rate .5% of the Trust’s average weekly net assets. The Trust’s investment advisory is Invesco Advisers, Inc. (the Adviser).
