Sensata Technologies Holding N.V. (Sensata) is a developer, manufacturer and seller of sensors and controls. The Company produces a range of sensors and controls for mission-critical applications, such as thermal circuit breakers in aircraft, pressure sensors in automotive systems, and bimetal current and temperature control devices in electric motors. Sensata conducts its operations and product development activities in the United States, Belgium, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Bulgaria. The Company operates in two business segments namely Sensors and Controls Businesses. Its sensors are used in braking, transmission, air bag applications, ventilation, air-conditioning and heavy vehicle off-road applications. The Company provides bimetal electromechanical controls, thermal and magnetic-hydraulic circuit breakers, power inverters and interconnection products. The Company’s products are sold to aerospace, military, commercial and residential markets.
