DraftKings Inc. DKNG announced on Tuesday night that it is reversing course and scrapping its plan to impose a “gaming tax surcharge” on winning bets in highly taxed sports betting states.

The tax, which would have impacted winning bets in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Vermont, was nixed by DraftKings after the company said it got negative feedback from customers.
