In trading on Tuesday, cigarettes & tobacco shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 0.4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Universal, off about 1.2% and shares of Vector Group down about 0.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Tuesday are defense shares, down on the day by about 0.3% as a group, led down by Northrop Grumman, trading lower by about 1.1% and Huntington Ingalls Industries, trading lower by about 0.9%.
