In early trading on Thursday, shares of Equinix topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 12.3%. Year to date, Equinix has lost about 3.4% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Epam Systems, trading down 22.6%. Epam Systems is lower by about 35.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Airbnb, trading down 7.1%, and STERIS, trading up 6.2% on the day.
