In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Idexx Laboratories topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 2.7%. Year to date, Idexx Laboratories, has lost about 3.6% of its value.

And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Sirius XM Holdings, trading down 2.2%. Sirius XM Holdings is lower by about 43.3% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Tesla, trading down 1.7%, and Intuitive Surgical, trading up 2.5% on the day.
