In trading on Friday, water utilities shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 0.4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Consolidated Water, off about 1.1% and shares of California Water Service Group off about 0.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Friday are gas utilities shares, down on the day by about 0.3% as a group, led down by UGI, trading lower by about 1.6% and Northwest Natural Holding, trading lower by about 1.1%.
