Nuveen Real Estate Income Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund is designed to invest at least 90% of its assets in income producing common stocks, preferred stocks, convertible preferred stocks and debt securities issued by real estate companies, with at least 80% of its total assets invested in income producing equity securities issued by real estate investment trusts (REITs). Its portfolio composition includes specialized, office, retail, residential, industrial, health care, diversified and hotels, restaurants & leisure. The Fund’s investment adviser is Nuveen Fund Advisors, LLC.
