MEDNAX, Inc., incorporated on October 10, 2007, is a provider of physician services, including newborn, maternal-fetal, teleradiology, pediatric cardiology and other pediatric subspecialty care. The Company's national network consist of physicians, including over physicians providing neonatal clinical care, primarily within hospital-based neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), to babies born prematurely or with medical complications. It also has affiliated physicians providing maternal-fetal and obstetrical medical care to expectant mothers experiencing complicated pregnancies primarily in areas where its affiliated neonatal physicians practice. Its network also included other pediatric subspecialists, physicians providing pediatric intensive care, pediatric cardiology care, hospital-based pediatric care, pediatric surgical care, pediatric ear, nose and throat and pediatric ophthalmology services. It also provided teleradiology services through a network of affiliated radiologists.
