The Coca-Cola Company is a beverage company. The Company owns or licenses and markets non-alcoholic beverage brands, primarily sparkling beverages and a range of still beverages, such as waters, flavored waters and enhanced waters, juices and juice drinks, ready-to-drink teas and coffees, sports drinks, dairy and energy drinks. The Company's segments include Europe, Middle East and Africa; Latin America; North America; Asia Pacific; Bottling Investments, and Corporate. The Company owns and markets a range of non-alcoholic sparkling beverage brands, including Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite. The Company owns or licenses and markets over 500 non-alcoholic beverage brands. The Company markets, manufactures and sells beverage concentrates, which are referred to as beverage bases, and syrups, including fountain syrups, and finished sparkling and still beverages.

The Coca-Cola Company was founded in 1892 in the United States and today is the largest manufacturer of concentrates, syrups and soft drinks in the world. The most famous of them is the eponymous Coca-Cola. The company also owns other brands of popular soft drinks: Coca-Cola Light, Fanta, Schweppes and Sprite. The production and sale of concentrates for their release is carried out by the parent company in the US, but the network of manufacturing enterprises (bottling companies) is spread all over the world from the USA and Mexico to Japan, China and South Korea.

In 1919, the company went public. Coca-Cola shares were listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker KO and cost about $40. Later, they, along with securities of other major world companies, became the basis of the Dow Jones industrial index, and now they are also included in the S&P 500. Steady growth in the value of assets attracted a large number of large institutional investors, with Berkshire Hathaway, Inc, led by the prominent Warren Buffett. Its share is now about 10%.

By attracting an impressive amount of investment, Coca-Cola has repeatedly become the most valuable brand in the world, has been named one of the largest employers (including bottling companies, it employs about 700,000 people) and is included in the Fortune 500 list of the largest US companies (93rd in 2021).

Coca-Cola has been paying dividends since 1920, which have also grown steadily over the past 60 years. So, in 2019, the payment was $0.4 per share; in 2020 – $0.41; in 2021 – $0.42 and the expected figure for April 2022 – $0.44.
