PIMCO Global StocksPLUS & Income Fund (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund seeks total return comprised of current income, current gains and long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests in equity index derivative instruments relating to United States and non-United States markets, backed by a low-to intermediate average duration (1 to 2 + years above the Barclays U.S. Aggregate Index) debt portfolio with an average credit quality that is investment grade. The Fund`s investment manager is Pacific Investment Management Company LLC. The Fund employs a strategy of writing (selling) equity index call options on the U.S. equity portion to generate gains from option premiums, which may limit the fund’s gains from increases in the S&P 5 Index. The fund may also purchase put options on the S&P 5 in an effort to protect against significant market declines.
